Taiwan: Chinese Police Stationing Here?

According the today Taipei Times, which also mentioned CNA (Central News Agency – Taiwan) and China Times Weekly Magazine, Chinese police may be authorized to be stationed in Taiwan.

Nothing seems to be confirmed but as the old saying: no smoke without fire.

The reason is of course linked to the “cross-strait cooperation on crime prevention”.

In that case, why not allowing all the countries in the world to do the same?

And why other countries in the world are not doing the same?

And next step, why not allowing the Chinese military to stay in Taiwan?

And by the way, how to make the difference between Chinese military and police armed forces?

Moreover, what does “crime prevention” really cover?

Falun Gong is forbidden in China but allowed in Taiwan.

So Chinese police could arrest them here?

Dissidents and free speech is forbidden in China but allowed (for now) in Taiwan.

So Chinese police could arrest any people in Taiwan who are not respecting the Chinese laws?

I don’t know about you, but if this news is confirmed, it could be the beginning of the end for many.
